Rob Schneider and his wife Patricia Azarcoya officially ended their marriage after more than a decade together.As confirmed by Daily Mail, Azarcoya, 37, filed a divorce suit against Schneider, 62, in the state of Arizona, thus closing a chapter that began in 2011.
According to court records, the request was filed on December 8.That same day, the court issued an order and notice requiring the parties to attend a parenting education and information program, a common step in divorce proceedings when minor children are involved.
The former couple has two daughters together, Miranda Scarlett, 13, and MadelineRobbie, 10.
The case documents also indicate that Patricia Azarcoya requested that certain information about the process remain confidential.
The court would have accepted this request on January 21, although to date the specific scope of said measure has not been made public nor what aspects of the file will be reserved.
The actor has not yet filed a formal response to the lawsuit, although he did confirm to the court that he correctly received the divorce notice.
It should be remembered that Rob Schneider and Patricia Azarcoya met in 2007, when they coincided in a television project in which she was working.At that time, the artist was 44 years old and she was 19 years old.
