MG Pakistan has just revealed the price for its brand-new electric hatchback, the Binguo EV, stirring up excitement among local car buyers who are interested in the rapidly growing electric vehicle market. The carmaker shared the news on its social media pages, with a strong focus on affordability and practical city driving.
MG’s Binguo EV is designed as a compact, efficient ride, perfect for your everyday travel needs. Powered by a 31.9 kWh lithium ferro-phosphate battery and an electric motor, the car produces 67 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque, making it a solid choice for Pakistan’s urban roads.
The car can go as far as 273 kilometers on a single charge, according to WLTP tests. This range should be more than enough for office commutes, school drops, and even short trips between neighboring cities.
Charging the Binguo EV is straightforward, whether you’re at home or on the go. With DC fast charging, you can boost the battery from 30% to 80% in just about 35 minutes. If you’re charging at home using AC, a full charge takes roughly 5.5 hours, so you can simply plug in overnight and wake up to a car ready to hit the road.
Style-wise, the Binguo EV is compact but well-proportioned, with dimensions of 3950 × 1708 × 1580 mm and a wheelbase of 2560 mm. It features LED lights on both the front and back and rolls on sleek 15-inch steel wheels. Inside, you’ll find a clean, modern cabin equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a four-speaker audio setup.
MG Pakistan has set the Binguo EV’s price at Rs5,999,000, positioning it as an affordable, competitive choice for those who want a modern electric car. With this launch, MG is targeting customers who need a smart, tech-friendly, and eco-conscious car for everyday use.
