The reason why BlackPink could break up, according to Rosé

Rosé, a member of Blackpink, directly addressed for the first time the possibility that the South Korean group will one day face the decision of whether or not to continue with its full lineup.

The singer did so during her participation in the Call Her Daddy podcast, hosted by Alex Cooper, where the artist reflected on the internal dynamics of one of the most influential bands in global pop.

During the interview, Cooper posed a question that often haunts both fans and the music industry: “Have you ever talked about what would happen if one of you didn’t want to stay in Blackpink?”

Rosé’s response was cautious, but revealing, as she explained that she does not remember specific conversations about that scenario, although she made it clear that the group shares a mutual understanding based on respect and empathy.

“If any of us feel that at that moment it is not right, we would all understand. Blackpink is like any relationship: if a person is not ready for something, it must be respected,” she said.

According to the artist, forcing a decision within the group would go against the values that have kept them together since their debut.

Rosé, whose real name is Roseanne Park, stressed that Blackpink is a project built on trust, precisely because it is made up of only four members.

“We could never ignore anyone’s decision at any time in their life, and we trust that every decision we make is the right one for each person,” he said.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Rosé spoke openly about the extreme strategies she used to hide a romantic relationship from the public eye and the paparazzi.

According to the singer, she uses “carefully studied disguises” to go unnoticed when she is in public places.According to what she said, she went so far as to analyze how older women dressed on the street to replicate that style and go unnoticed.

Likewise, his outfit included a short, dark wig, with which he visited his then partner.

“I studied how older ladies dressed and I started asking for that type of clothing. I went to their house, because we couldn’t go anywhere. I traveled like that in case someone saw me,” he explained.

ROSÉ confessed with a laugh that, for a time, her house even had an entire “grandmother’s clothes” section.“I went crazy buying long, flowery, light blue skirts,” she recalled.

The singer said she maintained this routine for at least six months, driven by her determination to protect the relationship from public scrutiny. “I was very committed to keeping it a secret,” she said.
